Our Founders

Beth Knott

Beth Knott, Au.D., NBC-HWC

Founder, Director of Curriculum and Development

Dr. Beth Knott is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and owner of Beth Knott Health Coaching, LLC. She coaches private and corporate clients and instructs at Randolph Community College's Health and Wellness Coaching Certification Program. She gives presentations on Active Listening, Mindfulness and Stress Management. Beth holds a doctorate in Audiology and was a pediatric audiologist for 20 years before transitioning to health coaching. She serves on community boards including the Asheboro City Board of Education. Her motto: "Everyone deserves to feel amazing. One small step at a time!"

Daffie Garris

Daffie Garris, NBC-HWC

Founder, Chief Financial Officer

Daffie Garris is a co-founder of KGR and Owner of Garris Coaching. An NBC-HWC and Certified Human Resource Professional (SHPR and SHRM-SCP), she provided executive leadership in higher education for over 27 years within the NC Community College System, her final role being CFO/VP for Administrative Services. Her career began as faculty and Division Chair. She helps entrepreneurs build coaching businesses and believes education is the key to changing lives. Outside work she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and outdoor activities.

Rae Ritter

Rae Ritter, NBC-HWC

Founder, Director of Information and Technology

Rae is an NBC-HWC and owner of Live Moore Coaching. Previously worked in nutrition and epidemiology research at UNC. A personal healing journey led her through studies of eating habits and related diseases, inspiring her career in health coaching. Rae has helped clients reverse disease processes, lose weight, and eliminate toxic substances and relationships. She offers unconditional positive support and non-judgmental encouragement to help clients establish lasting, self-directed changes.

Stephanie Cuthbertson

Stephanie Cuthbertson, NBC-HWC

Lead Instructor & Corporate Coach

With a Biology degree from Columbia University, Stephanie evolved into a passionate health coach. An NBC-HWC, she enrolled in KGR's program and was invited to become part of the academy. She watches students transform from uncertain to embracing their potential as future health coaches.

Nikki Petty-Miles

Nikki Petty-Miles, NBC-HWC

Certification Course Instructor

NBC-HWC certified and a KGR Certification Course Instructor, Nikki brings expertise and dedication to every class she teaches.
